Composers - DSO Kids has a page for learning about different composers. Each link has a short biography of a composer, and a sample of his or her work to listen to.
The Orchestra:
Instruments - DSO Kids has a page for learning about different instruments. Each page has a picture and description of an instrument, as well a a link that lets you listen to that instrument play. Click on an instrument, and see if your child can quess which one it is.
Classics for Kids has an interactive chart of the instruments of the orchestra.
Flashcards:
Uncheck the "Both Sides" box to show only one side. Then, you can click on the term to flip the card over. You can also choose to play a game by choosing a different option under "Choose a study mode."
